Dear OCAIR Friends,

The Steering Committee is excited to announce the 2019 call for proposals for OCAIR Best Presentation and Best Practice Awards. The awards are available because of the support from AIR and your donation to OCAIR professional development funds. We encourage all members who plan to attend the 2019 AIR Forum to compete for these awards. Individual and co-presentations (no panels or discussion sessions) are eligible for the awards. Proposals submitted to the 2019 AIR Forum are also eligible regardless of acceptance status.

An Award Selection Committee, led by the Immediate-Past-Chair Ying Zhou, will review and rate the submissions using a scoring rubric. The top rated submissions will be invited to present at the OCAIR virtual conference held in March. The Best Presentation Award winner will represent OCAIR at the 2019 AIR Annual Forum. The Best Presentation and the Best Practice Award winners will receive an award of $500 and $300 respectively.

In addition to the attached proposal form, we highly encourage you to attach a PowerPoint presentation or other supporting documents to provide more information. Please submit your entire proposal package via email to Ying Zhou ([email protected]) by midnight EST on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. The announcement of a new program, OCAIR Travel Grant, is forthcoming. This award targets graduate students and professionals who have fewer than four years of work experience in Institutional Research (graduate school experience excluded).
